We have communicated with the Chief Operating Officer for the State of Connecticut concerning the Governor’s Rollback Orders and have clarified the provisions regarding youth sports. Please note: it is important to cooperate with contact tracing.

Outdoor

  • There is to be no traveling out of state for any competitions, this includes single games or tournaments, regardless of what league you may be participating in.
  • There is to be no one from out of state coming into the state for any competitions, this includes single games or tournaments, regardless of what league you may be participating in.
  • In-state CT only teams can continue to play games and practice;  outdoor rules are unchanged, including regarding wearing masks by players. Masks continue to be required when coming/going/and on sidelines but not required while playing. Training and clinics are the same.
  • Limit spectators as much as possible. The maximum is now 50 people per field in outdoor space.

Indoor

  • Masks are REQUIRED to be worn while playing indoors, this includes games, training, and clinics.  Essentially, masks must be worn at all times while in the facility.
  • Limit spectators as much as possible.
  • Have a mechanism to capture accurate rosters for players and spectators to help with contact tracing. It is important to cooperate with contact tracing for everyone’s safety.
